Something Borrowed

Since the email apology from TJ with him saying he is sorry for making life difficult for everyone, I've heard nothing. And I am feeling lonely and discouraged.
I am struggling with negative thoughts and doubts. I am afraid, Lord, and I need Your help.

The following is taken from The Gift the New Testament for New Believers:
In church vocabulary, stewardship can be a code for a fund drive. But it actually cheapens the principle of Christian stewardship to limit its scope to just money. As a committed disciple of Jesus Christ, you're in charge of mountains of blessings that are yours to use, share, and invest--but never to own.
Money is certainly one of them, but so is your time and your entire package of talents and abilities. Even the words you say and the health you enjoy are gifts from the hand of God that require careful attention, wise handling, and (at times) measured restraint.
As you prove your faithfulness in managing small portions of God's resources, don't be surprised to see Him commit even more into your care, knowing that He can trust you to manage His property and be a funnel for passing the blessing along to others--the same way He's passed it along to you.
Money can't go to your head when you have God's interests at heart.

Your house is His. Your car is His. Your money is His. Your family is His. Every single thing you have is His. You're just taking care of it for Him. Aren't you? God is awfully generous to let us borrow all these things. Are you willing to start giving them back?

"One person gives freely, yet gains more; another withholds what is right, only to become poor. A generous person will be enriched, and the one who gives a drink of water will receive water." Proverbs 11:24-25
